Creative Starter Kits

Volunteer Call, Creative Starter Kits Assembly

We’re looking for volunteers to help us assemble Creative Starter Kits for an upcoming outreach event at Montrose Grace Place.

These kits are designed to be very simple and very beginner friendly, and include a project bag, a crochet hook or knitting needles, and a ball of yarn. They’re intended to give someone an easy, welcoming first step into crochet or knitting, no experience required.

Our goal is to assemble 50 starter kits by January 5th, and we need both knitters and crocheters to help make that happen. You don’t need to be an expert, just willing to lend a hand and help us prepare kits that will be used to introduce new makers to the fiber arts.
